About Lancashire LGBT

Lancashire LGBT is a registered charity working across Lancashire (including Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool) for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people. 

Their aim is to support LGB and/or T people in Lancashire to be happier, healthier and well connected.  

 Lancashire LGBT’s vision is to ensure Lancashire is a place where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, all are able to be safe, fully participate in all aspects of community life, feel a sense of pride and belonging and know that their contribution is celebrated, shared and inspiring to others.

The work that Lancashire LGBT does includes, providing a helpline and information service, delivering social and support opportunities, supporting VCFS and the public sector to reduce barriers LGB and T people face.

They also influence decision, raising awareness of the needs of LGB and T people through training and delivering key research that underpins the need for policy change.
