About The Work and Health Programme
Ingeus delivers the Work and Health Programme in the North West to provide specialist support to find and stay in work.
It is available, on a voluntary basis, to unemployed people with health conditions and disabilities and those who are in vulnerable groups.
Our Key Workers help participants get support from the in-house Mental and Physical Health and Employment teams, the Ingeus Hub online directory of courses as well as through a wide network of expert external partners.
Support is available for up to 15 months before starting work and 6 months afterwards.
The Work and Health Programme has replaced the Work Programme and Work Choice to provide more specialist help to people that need it the most.
The aim is to help more people with health conditions and disabilities find and stay in work.
As a Disability Confident Leader, Ingeus is able to share its own experience with employers as to how best to adapt practices to attract, assess and support employees who may need regular or occasional help.
Working with both people seeking work and employers seeking employees creates new opportunities that may not otherwise have existed.
